Watercolours, pastels, graphics and oil paintings.
All my life I have been drawing and painting. I prefer to work outdoors directly from nature with watercolour or pastel and have a great love for the landscape. Traditional, figurative. Since I went professionaly public with my watercolours in the 1980s, my “work area” has extended from Zeeland to New Zealand and from Muiden to Suriname.
In the winter months I like to work in my studio using the other techniques. Despite my very busy activities in my former teaching career, I have always remained true to my love for watercolour, pastel chalk, oil paint, acrylic, etching and lino printing, drawing pen and ink.
My work has been exhibited regularly over the years and has found its way to many enthusiasts at home and abroad.
